Power and awe

[July 2026]

On a recent road trip around the Bellingen area (NSW, Australia) I have been contemplating the concept, and felt sense, of power. As I think many in the world are right now. Considering the desperate harm caused by misuse of power and how this can give power a bad name.

Walking through Dorigo Rainforest I reminded myself of the work of Cedar Barstow, and the Right Use of Power Institute’s definition around power being to be able to have influence, and to importance that this always power runs through your heart.

With this swirling around, I reached the Crystal Shower Fall. The pathway allows you to stand just behind the tumbling water and feel its immense power.

The sound and deep vibration resonating through my body offering me a somatic guide.
