Social Work Reflective Supervision
I work with social workers, and other practitioners, to support awareness and skillfulness in the interplay between professional and personal experiences, and support vocation to be a more nourishing experience.
Reflective topics may include:
Building more meaningful self-care practices (getting to the core of these issues rather than token activities)
Finding how body awareness might fine-tune your assessments skills and boundary management
Early-career clarification of core values, goals, boundaries and triggers
Clarifying why you do the work that you do
Case consultation
Critical incident debriefing
Personal reflection on types of presentations that can be triggering for you
Developing mindfulness skills to support your own role, and how to introduce these to clients
Bringing aliveness to places of stuck-ness (in our work, in ourselves as practitioners)
Vicarious trauma, burn-out and compassion fatigue debriefing
Where there is an interest, I find that including art-making in supervision can be quite powerful - both in supporting clarity and also in resourcing you as a clinician.
In-person and online sessions available.
