Nature inspired

A woman, Sarah Brooke, with long gray hair and earrings standing outdoors in a natural setting. Warm facial expression, with sunlight and trees in the background.

I work with people who want to understand themselves more deeply. Together, we explore what may be beneath anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself.

There is more wisdom available to us than the busy thinking mind alone can access.

Through slowing down and learning to listen more deeply — to the body, the unconscious, our imagination and to the natural world — we can discover what is already trying to be known, and create more authenticity and freedom in how we live.

I bring more than 15 years of social work experience to my work as a somatic psychotherapist. I have distilled what I find to be the most inspiring and potent ways to listen to the wisdom available all around us:

  • Hakomi (Somatic Psychotherapy) â†’ listening inwardly to the body, sensations, beliefs and patterns which shape you, listening for clues of what else is possible.

  • Nature-based practice→ listening inwardly and outwardly, using the living world to reconnect with what you know and need.

  • Dream Therapy→ listening to the unconscious through dreams, images, symbols and bodily experience to hear what is attempting to unfold within you.

Check out these offerings and book a 15min call to discuss how we might work together.
