What brings you to therapy.
My hope is to support people to find their most authentic and expansive self. To experience wonder and delight in their own essence, and in the world around them… and to find that the two are one and the same.
I aim to support people to see beyond the stories we inevitably tangle ourselves in. To step towards something bigger.
Let us learn to be with what is real, with courage and compassion.
I hope to support people to cultivate a kinder inner world, and feel deeper connection with the natural world.
What might bring you to these sessions
Themes and goals which might align:
Grief and loss
Existential concerns
Loneliness/confusion/stuckness
Attention caught by dreams/nightmares
Improving emotion regulation
Engaging more fully with life
Seeking authenticity
Finding one’s purpose
Listening to body wisdom
Seeking nature connection:
You are already in deep connection with the natural world and want to keep your growth-journey deeply rooted here
You feel actively called to re-connect with nature
You worry about our world and feel called to:
o grieve deeply
o distil your unique contribution
o constructively channel your rage
An interest in wildlife conservation and or love of rivers and creeks
You’re not sure what you need… but feel depleted and disconnected. These are clues.
Spiritual or soul emergence:
You’re sensing a spiritual emergence, or soul-calling
You’re experiencing a spiritual emergency, maybe presenting as a crisis, but with deep wisdom beneath:
nightmares/poor sleep
burn-out
interruptive illness
psychedelic ‘bad trip’
extreme states (sometimes referred to as psychosis)
panic attacks and perpetual un-groundedness
pervasive numbness/confusion/existential angst
You may have a beautiful dream you’ve never felt confident to bring into the world, but it keeps tugging at your sleeve [also treat yourself by reading children’s book “Maybe”]
You may just feel a resonance
I’d love to meet you in that
“I love nothing more than small moments of beauty, and feel everything starts from there”
