Finding Ourselves Embedded

Finding Ourselves Embedded

These sessions are about resourcing. Techniques for feeling safe, grounded and supported. This can be particularly helpful in post-traumatic-growth, as well as to build courage for hard-times and re-patterning attachment patterns. This has been a focus of many years of my therapeutic practice… so have gathered endless ideas to share with you. My particular focus here is on nature-based, creative arts practices. We have no need to feel alone when the world is constantly here holding us, inviting us into relationship.

Weaving Ourselves In

Baskets and assemblage using natural materials. Finding the threads, balance holding loose and tight, allow yourself to slow, recognise yourself mirrored back. Some reflections on this process and the potential for conversation with natural materials. I find weaving can have a special place in grief processing, and inner child work by incorporating soft and playful materials.

Joining your Landscape

Meeting outdoors, or online to walk your local landscape to find a place that invites your into a loving relationship. Building (remembering) skills for listening to the limitless invitations of our world. How to lean back and allow yourself to be held. Gently waiting for what comes next - does a bird visit? a leaf drop? Your belly soften? Finding our ways to offer thanks.

Altars for Intentions

Altars can have so many roles- from fueling our daily commitment to purpose to tending to inner wounds. These sessions might take many shapes: my visions is to help you to create a sacred space in your own living environment- We make something together to take home, or meet online so you can be creating the alter in real time at home.

Safe Space in Art

Cultivating safe places, using creative arts practices. Through the physical making, we feel more deeply into internal and external resources and often recognise existing support which had not quite been articulated, making it easier to access next time. Gentle somatic practices and havening techniques are used to embedded this safety in the body.
