Cultivating Awe
Practices for Cultivating Awe
Sessions designed to run as a series, with a flexible number of sessions dedicated to each stage.
Meet together in-person, or online to allow exploration of your local area.
Designed as a 1:1 session, however please email me to discuss attending as a couple, parent-child or pair of friends.
Tuning our Attention
Tuning-in and savoring. Slow-down, ground and expand our attention. Unwinding habits to overlook or minimise the magic glow of life. Drawing on Hakomi methods, and child-like joy, to cultivate our capacity for Awe.
Expressing Reverence
Poetry and gentle body practices in ode to nature. Offering thanks and deepening our attention. Joining long history of many cultures to form words of reverence for our natural environment. Options to use the body as poetry, to mirror and celebrate.
Wisdom Consultation
Supported-mindful attention and nature journaling. Recognising human wisdom as only a small part of the wider whole. Quieting in order to listen (there is always someone talking to us). Tuning-into the messages of the flowers and the breeze.
Reciprocity and Tending
We have much to offer our natural world in return. Creating rituals of thanks; from weeding to advocacy; songs of praise to habitat building. Finding your unique way- calling on your natural gifts - to offer gratitude and care.
